I'm an experienced Frontend developer with a deep knowledge of the modern web, starting with JavaScript.
My current stack is Typescript/NextJS/Relay with CSS modules for styling. React is the JavaScript framework, and Relay is the GraphQL client.
I've been a professional Software Engineer since 2014. Most of my experience has been on scrum teams for enterprise SaaS applications. I love the hustle of the two-week sprint cadence, and the collaboration between Engineering, Product and Design.
Besides building out new features, I've had the opportunity to work on some pretty cool initiatives:
- Creating a component-based design system
- Evangelizing typescript at a company
- Refactoring a flagship application to use declarative routing
- Rewriting a deploy pipeline from scratch
- Extracting a high-risk legacy application into its own codebase
Mentoring has also become part of my professional routine. I've been a tech lead twice in my career now, and I've also run the Frontend guild meetings for my company. And I serve as a the expert frontend resource on my Product team, which owns the core parts of our web platform.
